I started beading in 2000 and was always inspired by all the other tribes with their awesome beaders, seamstresses, vendors, pow wow dancers and the artistry & beauty within our community. I watched and learned different beading techniques from my Mom and Aunties while asked questions on the meaning and heard many stories of why our culture did what we do and who for. As an ever growing and learning beader and creator in this art I hold onto the importance of educating people on certain pieces that I make and love to see Native and Non-Native peoples wear my designs.
